The celebrated Austrian designer Thang De Hoo graduated with a degree in Fashion Design in Den Haag, Netherlands. In 2005, he was the winner of the “Renault Haute-couture prize 2005,” and in 2002 won the fashion award for “Couturier of the Year” in Vienna, Austria. He became head designer for “Liska” in 1998, and in 1995 won the fashion award for “Newcomer of the Year,” in Cairo, Egypt. He also won the fashion award “Oscar” from News magazine in 1992.
In his early years, he freelanced for “Tramontana” and “Vepetex” and then presented his first collection, Thang De Hoo, in the winter of ’86 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
